Norfolkline departs from Dover for Dunkirk ever two hours, beginning at 2:00 and ending at 23:59. Saturday ferry service to Dunkirk is as regularly scheduled with the exception of departures at 20:00 and 23:59, which are cancelled. Sunday, service is offered from 8:00 to 23:59.

Dunkirk departures also occur every two hours, beginning at 2:01 and continuing on to 23:58. Saturday is as regularly scheduled with the exception of departures at 18:01, 22:01 and 23:58, which are cancelled. Sunday service begins at 6:01 and continues to 23:58.

Norfolkline has a variety of guidelines to assist those interested in finding the cheapest fare. There are generally more cheap spaces on night departures occurring between 23:58 and 6:01. Dover fares are generally less expensive in the afternoon, while those from Dunkirk are cheaper in the morning. Weekday fares are generally lower than those available on weekends and school holidays, and it pays to book in advance.
